    1. Pattachitra is a traditional hand-painting art form from the Indian states of Odisha and West Bengal, where 'patta' means cloth and 'chitra' means picture. This ancient art form, dating back over a millennium, is known for its intricate details, mythological and folk themes, use of natural colors, and decorative floral borders. Paintings are made on a treated cloth canvas and historically served for ritual purposes, souvenirs, and storytelling.

      My Background

When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually, I went to college to study art.
